Victory!

Some days just don't come easy. We drove from Carting Louis to our hotel in second gear,107km. Once in the city we got on a narrow street with no turnaround. We had no reverse. Somehow we made it out of there and to the hotel. Chuck, linked with Charlie on cell phone for his tutorial, has managed to fix the gear problem. Thank you team  T-Zero.
Now what to do about our red eyes? The dust is phenomenal, creating a fine film over man, machine and monkey as well. Even clogged our siren and caused the circuit breaker to trip.
World-famous Llao Lao resort contrasts favorably to the low point on our hotel list the former evening.
Having sucked up most of the Moisturizer in Patagonia, I have scheduled myself for a body polishing at the spa today. Chuck is in heaven fiddling with Fang. All the crews are out playing with their cars, some even attempting to wash them!
This is a very different rally than our prior experience. We have to hustle along with barely a chance to stop. All my photos must be taken from the car and no pitstops allowed!
The rally participants are lovely and we are having a fine time with everyone. Stories entertain every evening and of course Chuck is right up there with his.
