Day 10 - Towards Vina Del Mar

Early departure this morning and a long day ahead. Holy smokes.... they announced we were a 1/3 of the way. Seems like we have been at this for a month.

Fang hanging together literally, on a motorcycle strap, wire ties and parachute cord.  Looking quite bedraggled.... as Pam said, "he threw and eye ". So now, since his headlights went out days ago, he has one lower road light and one on his roof. Fortunately we run in the day time. The inside of the car looks like someone threw in a bucket of volcanic dust and set off a grenade. A rest day tomorrow will be a most welcome event.

Had 10 minutes to fix a broken battery mount before the start - drilled holes in the car, strapped down, and went...             CL
